Salty Dogs

Hello!! This is Mary, Latifah, and Lucy reaching out to close family and friends to help raise money towards Chicago's biggest fundraiser for sheltered animals. I was lucky enough to find my sweet 9-year-old pup at the Anti-Cruelty Shelter 2 years ago, and I'd be so grateful if others could contribute to the cause so that others can continue to find their animal soulmates, and so that loving animals can find their forever homes!

Visit here to share the word, or just to see another cute photo of us: http://give.anticruelty.org/goto/saltydogs.

For more info on the Anti-Cruelty Society and what the walk represents, feel free to read on! :

BARK is Chicago’s oldest and best dog walk and party, and it’s also The Anti-Cruelty Society’s biggest fundraiser of the year.BARK begins with a 2.5 mile walk along Chicago's beautiful lakefront, followed by the best dog party in town with food, beverages, entertainment, and dog-friendly demonstrations. Some of the exciting activities planned for that day include: canine agility courses, pet product samples, activities for kids, souvenir photos, and a raffle. Participants will also enjoy a variety of free food and beverages, live music, and much more!

This year our teamhas set an ambitious fundraising goalbefore BARK. The money weraise will be used to provide critical care for thousands of animals, and help them find good homes. It’s an amazing organization that I’m proud to support. Last year they placed more than4,800 pets, helped *** abused and neglected animals, and performed over 4,800 spay/neuter surgeries to help control the pet population.

Every donation makes a difference. The Anti-Cruelty Society has an open door policy and won’t turn away any animal regardless of age, condition, or temperament. A $10 donation can help pay for a deworming treatment, and a donation of $150 will pay for five days of shelter, medical care, and food for just one dog.

The Anti-Cruelty Society has been building a more humane Chicago for people and pets since its founding 1899.Since then, the Society has grown into Chicago's oldest and largest open admission animal welfare organization, and their programs and services improve the lives of thousands of animals and Chicago area pet owners every year. The Anti-Cruelty Society’s mission is to build a happy and healthy community where pets and people thrive.

However, the care that The Anti-Cruelty Society provides to animals in need is only possible through the community’s assistance. I hope that you will support me and BARK 2022. Your generosity will ensure that thousands ofabandoned and neglected animals will find hope, comfort, and healing this year.
