BARK 2022

Top-notch Volunteer Matchmaker introductions mostly begin as friendly, short but important discussions as behavior info & potential handling challenges are communicated to visitors to prepare them for their walk. These volunteers are the capable hands, watchful eye, and devoted hearts that steward both dog & visitor interactions to ensure positive experiences creating fertile ground where love begins in our shelter each, and every day. Incredible volunteer Erin is pictured here communicating info at cage front, exhibiting the doggy`s sit, and Lure Focus to a visiting family. Excellent Matchmakers, like Erin get the visitor involved in training right away, which creates rich interest in a smart doggy, and sets an excellent foundation for both!

Never Fear Society Volunteers!

Welcome welcome, we are SO glad you are here!

Welcome to the Team Fundraising Page for Team Never Fear Society Volunteers, a team made up of the BEST, most dedicated shelter volunteers in the world!

Never Fear: Through each and every volunteer's compassion towards all animals large and small, we promote an environment free of fear with each interaction, showing every animal in the Society's care the love they so deserve. That is why we say "Never Fear, Society Volunteers are here!"

Who are these amazing volunteers ALL of Chicago is talking about?

The Anti-Cruelty Society relies on its volunteer community to provide essential care for homeless animals day in and day out. Society volunteers are the backbone of the shelter, and dedicate their time, resources, compassion and their hearts to each and every animal that finds itself at the Anti-Cruelty Society.

What better way to show gratitude and support for the amazing volunteer humans of the Society than making a contribution to their fundraising efforts for the Society's 28th annual BARK fundraiser taking place in May?? Read on read on..., for more detail on just how truly awesome BARK will be this year, and just how MASSIVE of an impact the fundraiser has on the thousands of pets who rely on the Anti-Cruelty Society for help each year.

What is BARK, you may ask?

The Anti-Cruelty Society's annual fundraiser, BARK, is back for its 28th edition this year and we could not be more excited to bring together our community of caring in-person this year! BARK will be held on May 21st, 2022 from 8am-1pm at the Stadium Green at Solider Field. BARK includes a 2.5-mile walk along the lakefront, live entertainment, food and drinks (beer!), an agility course, canine massage, and lots of engaging activities for the whole family.

I mean... does anything sound more awesome? A lakefront walk in the Chicago sunshine for humans and pups alike, while also contributing to the Anti-Cruelty Society's critical mission through supporting its volunteer community?

Your generosity will help the Anti-Cruelty Society continue its commitment to any animal in need, regardless of age, condition, breed or life experience.

In closing, we thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for your generous support of the Anti-Cruelty Society's second to none volunteer community. Without these dedicated humans, the Anti-Cruelty Society could not give what it does to so many animals in need.
