Pawsome Adopters

Welcome to the Pawsome Adopter's Team Page!

Whether you adopted a dog, cat, rabbit, guinea pig, rat, hamster, gerbil, mouse, or any other animal companion from us -

whether it was your first time adopting or you'd been through the adoption process many times before -

whether they are your first pet or you already had a few animals waiting at home to meet the newest addition  -

choosing to adopt an animal from The Anti-Cruelty Society not only brings happiness to your whole family, but your support also helps us find forever families for other pets just like yours! Even after you take your pet home, you can continue to support us. Raising both awareness and funding for animal rescue in our community is vital to being able to keep doing the work that we do. Our annual Bark From The Heart fundraiser will be virtual this year and run throughout the month of May. Join the Pawsome Adopter’s team and help animals in-need by participating in fun activities of your choice that can certainly include your pets! On May 22nd, plant the official Bark flag and take pictures to show us how you are "barking from the heart" this year. Please support us through donating, spreading the word on social media with #bark2021, and checking-out more information here: https://anticruelty.org/bark2021

Thank you for supporting The Anti-Cruelty Society's Pawsome Adopter's Team!

This year, we are helping The Anti-Cruelty Society care for thousands of animals every year by raising money for Bark From The Heart. Even during this challenging year, The Society has done amazing work. This important event raises critical funds to continue to care for thousands of pets who need their help.

This year our team has set an ambitious fundraising goal to help the Society in their mission to provide compassionate care to any animal that needs it. The money you help us raise will be used to provide critical care for thousands of animals, and help them find good homes whenever possible.

The Anti-Cruelty Society has been building a more humane Chicago for people and pets since they were founded in 1899. Today they are Chicago's oldest and largest open admission animal welfare organization, and their programs and services improve the lives of thousands of animals and Chicagoans every year. The Anti-Cruelty Society’s mission is to build a community of caring by helping pets and educating people.

However, the care that The Anti-Cruelty Society provides to animals in need is only possible through the friendship of the community. Please help us meet our fundraising goal for Bark From The Heart. Your generosity will help them keep an open door to compassion for any animal regardless of age, condition or temperament.
