Welcome Maggie's Friends!
The Anti-Cruelty Society is excited for Chicago’s original dog party, Bark in the Park, for the 25th year in a row on Saturday, May 18. As our largest fundraiser, Bark in the Park consists of a walk along Chicago’s lakefront followed by a party with food, beverages and activities for both humans and their dogs to enjoy.
The event takes place at Soldier Field Stadium Green along beautiful Lake Michigan and runs from 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. The 2.5 mile walk begins at 9:00 a.m., and we encourage all attendees to come for the walk and then stay for the party. There will be free food, a raffle, a beer tent, live music and activities for your pup such as canine agility courses, dog massages, pawdicures, caricature drawings and more.
Tickets are $40 for adults and $10 for children ages 3-12. All funds go toward providing food, shelter, medical care and second chances for thousands of animals in need.
I work for The Anti-Cruelty Society in their Community Programs department. Our Society is a wonderful organization where your donation makes a BIG difference!
