Molly Needs Your Help!
Molly, my pandemic puppy, was homeless as a tiny puppy. She found her way to The Anti-Cruelty Society. In the middle of the pandemic, I had just lost both Ricki and Denver, my two rescues from Atlanta and Asheville. I was devastated. I decided to wait awhile to recover a little from the grief before seeking to new dog.
Then one day, while in my office the one day each week I worked from there, my colleague Naomi brought Molly up to our floor for some play time. She wasn't doing well in the shelter. She was frightened by the noise. At first, she wouldn't come to me. She hid under my conference table.
After an hour or so, she moved slowly toward me and curled up in my lap. My plan to wait, well it changed. I decided to foster Molly just for a little while until she wasn't so frightened. I "failed" at fostering.
So Molly wants me to ask you to help The Anti-Cruelty Society help more dogs and cats like her who find themselves without humans who love and care for them. We rescue those animals, rehabilitate them, prepare them to become part of a family, and match them with humans who will love them.
Even during the pandemic, we matched 4,200 animals to new human families.
We also provided over 520,000 pet meals to families with pets they love but who were struggling with the economic impact of the pandemic, ensuring that both the humans and the animals in those families remained healthy and supported.
Any size gift you can give to help Molly help other homeless pets and help us help families who are struggling - seriously any size - $5 - will matter. Give more if you can an choose to but help Molly help homeless pets in any way you can.
She, AND I, will be truly grateful.
