Raising funds to help more pets and people!
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for The Anti-Cruelty Society!
Each year on a Saturday in May The Anti-Cruelty Society holds our biggest fundraiser of the year. The money we raise at our annual BARK event ensures that we have the resources needed to help the pets and people in Chicagoland who need it most. That's why I'm taking part again in this year's campaign!
The Anti-Cruelty Society is Chicago's oldest open door shelter. We won’t turn any animal away - ever. It’s how we came to own Joey, our fancy pigeon, and this hunk right here, Butter. Both of these goobers came to the shelter when they had no other safe place to go. That’s why supporting our work is crucial - we take in the animals others won’t or can’t.
Even with the pandemic we took in THOUSANDS of animals like Joey and Butter. Now, as we slowly exit pandemic life, we're seeing more animals in need than ever before as well as pets waiting longer to find their adoptive homes. We're bracing ourselves for unprecedented numbers of pets and people needing our help in the months and years to come - which is why your support is so critical!
Please consider supporting the life changing work we’re doing by making a donation in Butter and Joey’s honor. Every little bit helps!
Thank you in advance for helping us help the pets and people of Chicago!
