Hi, I'm David. In October of 2022, I will be running the Chicago Marathon to benefit The Anti-Cruelty Society. As a lover of all animals and life-long pet owner, this is an organization very near and dear to my heart. The Anti-Cruelty Society performs a number of crucial services with regards to animal welfare, saving and improving the lives of animals who otherwise would not make it. 

Think of how much you love your dog or cat; you'd probably do anything in your power for them if they were in a difficult situation. The sad reality is that there are countless animals just like yours that are fighting for their lives every day. These animals endure abuse, homelessness, sickness, injury, social isolation, and more, yet still give us humans all of their love whenever they get the chance. A quick 26.2 miles is nothing if that means saving the lives of those who cannot help themselves.

For this fundraising effort, I have set the goal of raising $2620 ($100 per mile) to benefit this amazing organization. Any donation no matter the amount is greatly appreciated and will go directly towards saving animal lives. For any donation of $250 or greater, I am offering a complimentary professional pet photography session in my Highland Park studio or a Chicago Area location of your choosing.

Today, The Anti-Cruelty Society remains the oldest and the largest open admission animal welfare organization in Chicago. All animals are welcome at the Society every day of the year. We never turn an animal away from our doors. Ever.  And once an animal is admitted, they can stay as long as it takes to find their forever home.
