"At Last" You Can Help Etta (James) & I Save More Animals in Need!
Working as the Special Events Manager for The Anti-Cruelty Soictey for the past 3 years has been so amazing! Throughout that time I have been introduced to many smart, cute, and lovable creatures that will forever hold a special place in my heart. Although I grew attachment to many I had to bring myself back to reality and remind myself I was not ready to adopt a puppy at those moments and when the right time came I would know.
Last July a co-worker who works in the shleter and knows my affiniity for the "bully breed" stopped by my desk holding a very tiny gray and white pitbull puppy with bright blue eyes. Naturally I was immediately obsessed with her. My co-workers encouraged me to take her home for the weekend and "give it a try." As I had done so a few times in the past with other puppies making it even harder when I knew I couldn't keep them at the end of their stay with me. Knowing better I decided to do it anyway! It didn't take long before I named her, she was sleeping in my bed, and I had about 2,000 photos of her in my phone. After introducing her to my parents I offically adopted Etta on July 25th.
BEST DECISION I EVER MADE. Seriously. Every day since then has been filled with so much laugher and love.
That is one of the many reasons I am fundraising for The Anti-Cruelty Society. Etta was just one of thousands of animals the Society helps each year! So many more need our help and are looking for their forever home.
Join my pup, Etta and I on our quest to raise money for homeless animals at The Anti-Cruelty Society.
